Who is From the Pit
We are a small but determined team, with just two members at From the Pit
Dylan Baumgart
Dylan is the founder, editor, and photographer at from the pit. He started this publication in 2023 to help spread publicity for his favorite bands and musicians. He had previously worked with his high school newspaper as well as The Advance Titan at the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh. Dylan's photography dates back to 2021. He got his start doing portraits and prom photos, but quickly transitioned into concert and event photography. Now Dylan studies photography at Madison College, and is set to graduate with a degree in photography May of 2025.
Hannah Hewitt
Hannah is a more recent, but much needed addition to the team. Everything you read on the site is written by her. She has a unique writing style that encapsulates everything From the Pit stands for. Hannah has always had an interest in writing. Back in high school, Hannah found great success in her writing. It was always her favorite subject in school and she dreams of becoming an author one day.
